Peterson Ssendi Live on EB Amsterdam Radio

6 Sep

Uganda has severely been affected by climate change with direct impact on food security.  The situation has been further exacerbated by civil wars within and across the borders coupled with the fastest population growth and the lack of political will to correct the situation.

Reporter Peterson S. Ssendi is using the radio and his blogs to focus attention on matters of governance in Uganda, or the lack of it, and the pressures on urban infrastructure.

Of late, there has been a lot of concern in this largely Christian country on the issue of LGBT rights. While gays and lesbians continue to be socially ostracized, the government is preparing a new legislation against them. Ssendi has argued for the need to look at matters objectively, rather than getting swept away by the emotional rhetoric.

To hear him live in conversation with Ms Cathy Leung, switch on to Radio Amsterdam this month on Monday 16 September 2013 between 8:00 – 9:00 am.

English Breakfast Radio broadcast live on Salto’s A1 TV station with a local, international audience with an online and FM live broadcast.
